Hemp-Derived THC Infused Beverages

What are hemp-derived THC infused beverages?

 

Our beverages contain a low dose of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).  This active compound is naturally occurring in the hemp plant.  Hemp-derived THC infused drinks contain less than 0.3% dry weight of THC or less.  This is in compliance with the Agricultural Act of 2014 and 2018 (7 U.S.C. 5904).

 

There are many different flavors and types of beverages including seltzers, sodas, and teas.

 

Do hemp-derived THC beverages include alcohol?

 

No. They are alcohol free.  However, they are age restricted to 21+.

 

Is the beverage intoxicating?

 

It can be.  These products are made with a low dose of THC, but they are considered intoxicating.  Consume responsibly.  The same general cautions taken when consuming alcohol should also be applied to consuming these beverages, however everyone is different.  The time in which effects are felt varies by individual and can be delayed. 

 

What do dosages mean?

 

Beverages range from 2.5mg to 10mg per serving.  Check the manufacturer’s label for information regarding serving size.  Some products contain multiple servings.

 

Will I test positive for THC?

 

Probably!  While hemp is not marijuana, they are derived from similar plants.  Some producers say it may cause you to test positive for THC and some say you will.  Do not consume if you are subject to THC testing.  Consume at your own risk!

 

How is hemp different from marijuana?

Hemp generally has a milder effect than marijuana.  These beverages are made from hemp containing 0.3% or less THC by dry weight.  These beverages are also legal, whereas marijuana in any form is not.
